The Shepherds Bothy has been a ruin for the last 50 years and we took the decision to renovate it and turn it into holiday accommodation.
It sits on a quiet farm track, a few minutes walk from our Coffee Shop on the estate.
Previously used as a house for the estate Shepherd over 100 years ago, later on it was used as the Gas works for the Castle. When electricity was installed, the cottage was left to nature and became a store for old baths and cookers!
